Roadmap
From near-term launches to visionary goals, our roadmap shows you exactly how we're shaping tomorrow's decentralized apps.
Explore Our Journey
CHR Vault Withdrawals
Native CHR withdrawals to EVM chains will be integrated into the Chromia Vault interface.
TOKEN2049 Singapore
The team will be unveiling information about the next phase of Chromia’s development.
Native Staking V1
The staking system will transition to Chromia Mainnet. This upgrade will allow users to stake on Chromia, Ethereum, and Binance Chain and delegate their tokens to a mainnet provider through a single interface.
Filehub SaaS
A publicly accessible version of Filehub will be deployed to mainnet, enabling decentralized storage as a service on Chromia.
Bridge Enhancement
The bridge will be augmented with additional security features in preparation for expanded TVL and asset support.
Chromia Asgard Upgrade
Asgard adds support for ‘Extensions’, customized containers that expand Chromia’s capabilities. Extensions will be piloted with ecosystem partners before public release.
Oracle Extension
The Oracle Extension fetches data from an oracle source and delivers it directly to a Chromia dapp chain, providing reliable, low-latency access to any required price pair.
Postchain Python Client
Python is the leading language in machine learning. This release facilitates integration between Python applications and Rell, broadening Chromia’s potential in blockchain powered AI.
Neural Interface v2.0
Neural Interface allows the Chromia blockchain to function as a memory bank and historical record for AI agents. Version 2.0 will expand upon and refine the existing codebase.
AI Inference Extension
The AI Inference Extension introduces custom containers that allow providers to apply AI models using their node’s computational power.
Vector Database Extension
Vector databases are used extensively by LLMs and other AI applications, as they enable efficient comparisons, relationship identification, and contextual understanding.
Mimir Upgrade
Chromia’s second mainnet upgrade, scheduled for late Q1. This upgrade will enhance support for blockchain enabled AI applications and expands the capabilities of Chromia Extensions.
ZKP Module
Add Zero-Knowledge Proof functionality to Chromia, enabling developers to implement proof generation and validation as required by their applications.
AI Inference Optimization
Upgrade the Inference Extension to use a Python based framework, allowing for the use of more powerful models.
Vector DB LangChain Integration
Integrate the Vector DB Extension with LangChain, a leading open-source framework that connects LLMs to data sources.
Physical AI Pilot
Explore how physical AI devices can interact with Chromia to reward real world engagement with on-chain incentives.
Go Client for FT4
Enable FT4 token functions for applications written in Go, facilitating centralized exchange integrations and extending access to a broader range of developers.
AI Inference Testnet Demo
Launch a public testnet demo showcasing an LLM hosted on Chromia.
CRC2 NFT Standard
Chromia native NFT standard that is interoperable with ERC-721 and 1155, offering enhanced features including on-chain storage and expanded metadata.
EVM <> CRC2 Bridging
Tooling and documentation to bridge ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs to Chromia, where they are represented as CRC2.
Extensions SDK
Provide tooling and documentation to support third-party development of Extensions.
Extensions Marketplace
Establish a quality controlled repository of first and third party Extensions with variable container pricing based on individual requirements.
Chromia's roadmap is a dynamic document, updated quarterly to reflect the core team's development priorities. It focuses on core technology and does not include details about partnerships, ecosystem projects, or other external activities.
