Become a Chromian
Create a Chromia (FT4) account from your EVM wallet. One portable identity that works across every dapp chain, with no separate seed phrase to manage.
What is a Chromia account?
A Chromia (FT4) account is your on-chain identity across the network. Unlike a classic wallet, it isn’t a private key you store. It’s an account derived from your EVM signature and authorized by descriptors you control.
Your Chromia account id is computed from an EVM signature. There is no separate seed phrase to back up. The wallet you already use is the key.
An FT4 account is portable. The same identity works across every Chromia dapp chain, so you connect once and carry it everywhere.
Accounts are gated by auth descriptors you sign. Nothing moves without your signature, and you can revoke or rotate access at any time.
How it works
- 1Connect your wallet
Link the EVM wallet you want to use. It becomes the signing key for your Chromia identity.
- 2Sign an auth descriptor
A single signature registers your FT4 account on-chain. This derives your account id and authorizes the wallet to act on its behalf.
- 3Start using dapps
Once registered, your account is live across Chromia. Open the dashboard, stake CHR, or jump straight into a dapp.
Create your account
No Chromia account is linked to this wallet yet. Sign an auth descriptor to create one. Your account id is derived from your EVM signature and works across every Chromia chain.
